The nineteenth edition of the RONA MS Bike Tour was a resounding success. Over the last two weekends, some 1,500 cyclists pedalled up hill and down dale to raise the generous sum of $1,250,000. The first tour took place in the Quebec City region, between Saint-Agapit and Ste-Foy, while the second was held in the Mauricie region, between Shawinigan and Trois-Rivières.
Super Cities WALK for MS, a great fundraising event!
The 14th edition of the Super Cities WALK for MS was also a great success! Smiles were everywhere and the participants had a good time.
The event will took place in 22 cities and towns across Quebec: in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Drummondville, Gatineau, Granby, Laval, Lévis, Montreal, Mont-Tremblant, Repentigny, Saint-Hyacinthe, Saint-Jérôme, Sainte-Catherine, Sainte-Thérèse and Trois-Rivières on April 27; in Alma, Baie-Comeau, Chicoutimi, Port-Cartier and Sept-Îles on June 1; and in Quebec City, Sherbrooke and Sorel-Tracy on September 14.
Over 6,000 people, young and not so young, in wheelchairs and on foot, gathered in towns and cities around the province to walk to stop MS! In total, more than $1,300,000 were raised.
